American Women's History:  A Research Guide http://www.mtsu.edu/~kmiddlet/history/women.html   This site categorizes primary source collections concerning the history of women in America into 75 subjects that are easy to browse and search through.  It also provides citations to print and internet reference sources.   British Empire http://www.britishempire.co.uk/   This site includes articles, biographies, maps, and timelines that cover the history of the British Empire and its impact on other countries.  There is also a discussion session available for questions and information on current events.   EuroDocs:  Primary Historical Documents from Western Europe http://eudocs.lib.byu.edu   On this site you can search by country or time period across document links and full text articles concerning the history of Western Europe from Medieval times to World War I.  The site is maintained by Brigham Young University.   Historical Atlas of the Twentieth Century http://users.erols.com/mwhite28120centry.htm   This site provides access to detailed and interactive maps that chart trends, systems of government, cities, and conflicts throughout the world during the Twentieth Century.   History Matters http://historymatters.gmu.edu   This site allows you to search through primary documents, audio files, images and secondary articles about U. S. History.  There is also information on how to conduct research, analyzing primary sources, citing material and evaluating web sites.   Internet African History Sourcebook http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/africa/africabook.html    This site organizes African History from human orgins to modern day by date and place.  It includes direct links to documents and articles.   LANIC:  Latin American Network Information Center http://lanuc.utexas.edu/   This site provides access to academic data and internet resources on the countries of Latin America.  The site is searchable by country and subject.  It is maintained by University of Texas at Austin.    Online Reference Book for Medieval Studies http://www.the-orb.net/   This site focuses on peer reviewed articles, bibliographies, primary source materials and links to other sites with scholarly information on Medieval Studies.  This site is maintained by the College of Staten Island, City University of New York.   Picture History http://www.picturehistory.com/   On this site you can search by subject, keyword and date thousands of maps, postcards, photographs, cartoons and periodicals from 200 years of American History.  This site also includes video and audio clips.

T. ed. Reference E174.A4 1976   This reference contains 8 volumes, with more than 6000 entries that detail the political, military and economic development of America.  This resource does not contain biographies.   Dictionary of Historic Documents - Facts on File library of world history / George Childs Kohn, ed. Reference Collection (Non-Circulating) REF D9 .D525 2003   This reference contains nearly 2,400 entries that consist of edicts, legal cases, laws, treaties, proclamations, statements, truces, petitions, concordants, bulls, oaths, and more, ranging from the present back to ancient Mesopotamia. Reference D228.G73 2005   This recently revised two volume resource includes over 300 chronologically arranged essays that detail the political, social and scientific development of the Renaissance and Early Modern Era.  This reference also includes maps, timelines, a glossary, a bibliography and a list of of electronic sources.   Women in World History /  Commire, Anne. ed. Reference HQ1115.W6 1999   This biographical encyclopedia provides 10,000 articles of varying length on women from all over the world compiled from 5,000 years of documents.  Includes genealogical charts, photographs, illustrations and bibliographies.
